They will charge anything.

Tom's Guide recently reported that the iPhone Fold will reportedly start at $2400, which seems like too much, even for Apple. It significantly beats the $2000 that Samsung charges for the Z Fold 7. So why do you even need to spend that much on a phone?

The main thing to look out for is the creaseless display. The major issue with folding phones in the recent past is that they have creases that go down the middle and are often very noticeable. This detracts from content and makes the phone seem less immersive.

However, reportedly with the help of Samsung's creaseless displays shown off at CES, Apple can finally achieve what many companies have dreamed to make. This is important because, if Apple does something, the rest of the industry will follow and hopefully every foldable will be creaseless.

The other thing that the $2400 will go towards is the thinness. Another pitfall of some foldable smartphones is that they are too thick, since it is essentially like stacking two phones on top of each other. However, Apple is working and deciding to make the iPhone Fold have a 9mm thickness when closed and 4.5 mm when open. This will make it much more appealing for people to want to buy foldables since it won't add much in the way of weight.

It will also feature high quality cameras and a similar design language to what is found in the iPhone 17 models.

The iPhone Fold will be a great iPhone and it will bring a lot of new ideas into iPhone. We will have to wait and see what Apple does soon.
