It's your last chance to get them before they are gone.

With the Apple event just around the corner, the idea looming is what Apple will discontinue after the event. Apple is set to discontinue a few products at this next event, with a few possible extras.

The obvious one that Apple will discontinue is the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. After the next iPhones come out, Apple continues selling the base versions of the iPhones from the previous year but discontinues the Pro models. So, this means Apple will most likely continue selling the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 16e, but discontinue the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Apple is also set to discontinue the almost 2 year old iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, according to 9to5Mac. They also note that since only the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max supported Apple Intelligence, not the regular iPhone 15s, every iPhone model being sold after the event will support Apple Intelligence.

That brings our total up to 4 models. Along with the iPhones, Apple is set to discontinue all of the Apple Watches they currently sell. They obviously sell the Apple Watch Series 10 when the Apple Watch Series 11 comes out. Plus, with the release of the Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Apple Watch SE imminent, the discontinuation of the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Apple Watch SE is expected.

This brings our total up to 7 models. The last wildcard that 9to5Mac brings up is the AirPods Pro 2 being replaced with the AirPods Pro 3. I see this as likely, but what Apple could do is the same thing that they did with the AirPods 2 when the AirPods 3 came out and keep the older model out if they raise the price. It is, however, unlikely that they raise the price of the AirPods Pro 3, since there isn't a major redesign expected.

Either way, the Apple September 'Awe dropping' event will be amazing and bring along great products. We will have to see what Apple does soon.
