It's time for the others to follow suit.

Recently, new renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus surfaced and revealed that it would be released in a new orange color. It also may feature a new camera bar raised platform for the three lenses to sit on, similar to what Apple does now with the 17 Pro and Pro Max, just smaller.

This shows that tech companies really do think that consumers want a new orange color. It was made pretty clear in reviews and customer experience that the orange color was not liked. But, if Samsung can tone it down or figure out another way to fix the color, people may see it in a different light.

This truly signals that this whole new Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup is a mess. First the S26 Edge was cancelled, then the Pro model got canned, and now the S26 Plus is replacing it? The main thing that is clear is that Samsung is having difficulty figuring out what to do. Either way, they will hopefully see the response to the color and possible camera bar and take that as a hint to solidify what they should (and should not release).

This also makes it clear that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge is most likely cancelled. This ties to the reports recently that Samsung was halting production of the S25 Edge. There was just not enough hype around thin phones and it compromised on too much. Sales were too low to maintain the product, so there was no clear need for a successor. Either way, hopefully Samsung can learn from their mistakes and make better phones for the S26 series.

The new Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup will hopefully be packed with many features and capabilities. We will have to wait and see what Samsung does soon.
