Liquid Glass is finally rolling out.

With the launch of the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max, and iPhone Air in full swing, many are wondering when the brand new iOS 26 update will be available for download. Well, alongside the announcement of the new iPhones, Apple also listed when they would be rolling out iOS 26.

The update will be available for download on September 15, next Monday. However, remember that the update is not available to all iPhone models. You need an iPhone 11 or SE 2 or later to update to iOS 26.

Apple's other operating systems are also all coming out next Monday, September 15. For macOS, you need an M1 MacBook Air or later, MacBook Pro 2020 (Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) or later, MacBook Pro 16-inch 2019 or later, iMac 2020 or later, M1 Mac mini or later, any Mac Studio, or Mac Pro 2019 or later. It seems like Apple is nearly done with Intel Macs, but they still have a couple more years left.

For iPadOS 26, you need any 11-inch iPad Pro, iPad Pro 12.9-inch 3rd generation or later, iPad Air 3rd generation or later, iPad 8th generation or later, or iPad mini 5th generation or later. It also seems as though Apple is giving older iPads some extra support life, with some models being supported still from 2018 and 2019.

For watchOS 26, you need an Apple Watch SE 2 or later, Apple Watch Series 6 or later, or any Apple Watch Ultra.

The biggest update for all of the operating systems is, of course, the Liquid Glass design, a new, almost skeuomorphic design that adds more texture and depth to the operating system elements. It is unified across all of the operating systems and will bring a breath of fresh air to the operating systems.

iOS 26, macOS 26, iPadOS 26, and watchOS 26 will all be great updates. We will have to wait and see what Apple does soon.
